So with all this weight loss going on, I forsee a bad day for me tomorrow. I'm going to be driving 2.5 hours with both of my children(who hate the car) to a friend's house for her birthday. She is doing a cocktail party at her house, everyone is to bring their favorite drink to share and their favorite appetizers to share. If I have a major weakness (besides chocolate cake) it's appetizers...I mean who doesn't live for the cocktail hour at a wedding, that's the food that really matters. So all of my temptations will be there at this party. So my thinking is, I can have one day where I eat bad foods, but I'm just going to have to control the urge to overeat all of the yummy foods.

On a more disciplined note...
My husband bought me a spa package for Christmas, I think that I am going to reward myself when I hit goal #2 by taking a spa day :)

T, one day isn't going to derail your efforts. Enjoy your friends birthday to the hilt. You're doing great. Just get back on track on Sunday. Using that spa day as a reward sounds like an outstanding idea. Hugs my friend!

My old doctor used to tell me that messing up on my diet just once was unacceptable. That is the only thing I ever disagreed with him about. I think on special occasions you can indulge and enjoy yourself. If it helps, just do a little more exercising this week to make up for it. My weakness is cadbury eggs... I make myself walk two miles just so I can have one! It's worth it though! A spa day sounds like a fantastic reward I am jealous!!! :)

So I haven't had a chance to get on since my "bad" day...but I am pleased to say that I did enjoy the party and yummy food but well in moderation AND I did not gain anything (didn't lose either, but more importantly, I didn't gain!)!!!!!
