Okay, well I made it through a trip to the MIL and didn't put on any weight - followed plan. That's quite the feat, took a lot of planning, but found out it is totally doable even though the first thing Hubby and MIL wants is pizza! I decided to join the "sassy" challenge, I think I need a push to do a bit better in the exercise area.

Even pizza is ok if you don't eat the whole thing. Just plan your calories and enjoy the treat. I also need to get more exercise so I'll be checking the "sassy" challenge. Keep doing what you're doing!

That's fantastic! Trips to other's homes are so tough. Having a plan is the first step. That';s the only thing that's worked for me in the past. I also invoke my doctor's name a lot. "I wish I could have that, but my doctor says...." My daughter once snatched a wine from my hand because I had said "avoiding alcohol" earlier! Pitfalls, pitfalls--ha.

I'm Italian through and through, so not eating the crust - KILLED ME! I took two pieces and pulled the cheese off it. Then cut up the cheese and made little pepperoni sandwiches (there is always pepperoni in my fridge). Along with a little salad, I was good! :-) I was up to 80 units of insulin a night and would wake with 180 - 200 sugars - last night I took 50 units and woke with a 101. I refuse to loose any headway I've struggled to obtain!!
