Dang, I feel good! Listening to my body works well. I had a great workout in the pool. I worked my arms to exhaustion, and got a good solid 45 minute overall workout. Afterwards, I was craving salad, but somehow I never like the salads I make at home. So I treated myself to a salad bar in town. It was delicious, filling, and exactly what I was craving. Here's an interesting little piece of the puzzle that fell into place the other day. Your body uses the most energy just regulating your core temperature. So working out in cool to cold water is a double whammy for burning energy. Doing it in a fasted state doubles it again. I continued sweating for a full hour after I got out of the pool, and my depleted muscles continued to shake for about the same time. LOL...have you ever tried to write with a pen when your arm muscles are depleted? It isn't pretty! Yep, there's absolutely NO science to support these findings, but I don't give a flip. I'm happily tired, well fed, and will sleep like a baby tonight. Sweet dreams, buddies! Listen to your bodies. They have an innate intelligence, once you rid them of their addictions. ~Kes
