Soooooo... t'was an interesting and busy weekend that came to a rough end yesterday. Due to some technical issues I missed my early Monday gym trip, but still the day started off like any other and then all shitz hit the fan. I did some SERIOUS stress eating *sponsored by taco bell* and everything else went out the window.

To be honest I don't even give a twirly shiz about the gain that came with this binge, because I see it as another level of victory in dealing with my old demons. The old me would have emptied her guts in the toilet after eating all ze fewds.... the me from recently would sit and suffer after said binge and be guilty and miserable... but this me... the me from this past 24 hrs... well that me shook it off and got her ass to the gym and put in work instead.

It happened... I survived... I'm ookies... and I'm glad I got it out of my system in a more healthy manner than I used to.

I'm refreshed, recharged, refocused, and ready to get back on my grind! 👊😎💪

I love Taco Tuesday, my dear Christine! I am trying to figure how many to buy, then my wife texted me she wants to eat out. It looks like a bad diet day. lol

Wow, that could be contrary to your goals. lol Kp, you don't have Del Taco do you? I think that is a California thing, but Taco Bell is good. If Christine every went to our Taco Lita, where I grew up, it would be OVER! They make everything totally fresh somehow. They say that is the secret, but I wish I knew.

Here is a review of the one, where I grew up in Arcadia.....I'd actually give this place 10 stars if I could. Not true Mexican food, but the BEST California Mex! I grew up on Taco Lita in Pomona - my Dad used to bring home a big bag of their tacos on Friday nights when I was a kid. When the two locations in Pomona closed down we started going to the Ontario location on Holt at San Antonio. When that one closed, we thought that was the end of Taco Lita. About 18 years ago, we discovered there was one last Taco Lita left in Arcadia - one of the happiest days of my life! We've been making the half hour drive from Walnut to Taco Lita three and four times a month! Their JUMBO Burrito is to die for. The tacos are the best around as well

Nope, no Del Taco. I have gotten really disciplined with Taco Bell--just a chicken cantina bowl salad, hold the sour cream/cheese/dressing. None of the other yummy TB stuff that I used to order all the time. But I do plan to indulge in good food and drinks next week on vacation.

Thanks yew Steven. It's funny... like a switch has flipped in my brain. I don't even really care about what the scale says at this point. I know it's gonna be all over the place with me lifting and I'm actually okay with it. Down is always nice, but I'm not gonna sweat the number anymore.

That is such a good frame of mind. We will have bad days but the secret is to start again everytime you have a bad day. We must not let the bad days get us down. So keep up the positive spirit, your journey is very inspiring to some of us.

"Bad days" are an inevitable part of life...as long ae we try to keep the weeks and months ahead better than the ones behind us, we'll be fine. I'm still up and down like a yoyo but my trend is my focus...remember too, sometimes no gain in a month is a big win!!
