To celebrate my win today I'm replacing my normal almond milk and fiber drink with ice cream and my fiber stuffs. Carb smart chocolate is my poison this afternoon. As I carefully spooned and measured it into the proper serving sized portion, what blew my mind was how much ice cream I used to have each time in the past. Since I was a kid it was always huge bowls or giant cones. It's supposed to be a half a cup!!!! I have a tiny little spoon and I intend on savoring every teeny tiny bite with greater appreciation!

I've tried Arctic Zero, and it tastes like reduced calorie ice cream and sits like lead in your stomach. Blech. Halo top is much more like regular ice cream, but more firm (which is why they recommend you leave it out for 15 minutes before eating it). Straight from the freezer it has more of a sherbert texture than an ice cream texture. I love it. I'm not even tempted by normal ice cream anymore.

OMG...you said the magic word. Sherbet. I think I hear angels singing. I found the local stores that carry it and I'm going to make a point to get to one this week. Thank you for your review!

Lol thanks! I'm such a weirdo. I eat all my food with tiny utensils to ensure I take smaller bites and because they're cute. Tiny spoons, shrimp forks... even a cute little butter knife. I've been eating this way longer than I can remember.

Hey, my Whole Foods has Halo Top! Will have to check it out next time I go. Was lucky enough that today they were having avocados 5 for $1.

I'm with you. Never too much Ice Cream. Heck, I would reward myself with some Ben & Jerry's just for waking up in the morning. When I did the South Beach Diet 15 years ago, the Carb Smart IC was the best choice, but I, like the others here, had to do the small bars or cups because portion control was always my downfall. One of the other reasons I'm finding success with Weight Watchers.

So funny I read your post when I was thinking about buying an ice cream maker so I can make my own coconut milk ice cream LOL
