EmTheQueen's Journal, 05 April 2016

Today is the three month mark! I have lost 48lbs and though I can't recall what my measurements were in July, I've definitely gone down inches wise, with a perfect hourglass (48, 42, 48.5). We're getting swimsuits soon and I think I'm going to get a one piece so I don't have to worry about the bottoms falling off by the end of summer.

Unfortunately I did have something crazy weird happen last night. I /think/ it was another kidney stone, on the right side instead of the left. It came out of nowhere while I was in bed last night. I couldn't breathe, I couldn't stop moving, no position was comfortable and the pain was intense. I had some hydramorphone (it's like extra strong morphine) from previous hospital visits for stones so I took one of those and it knocked me out before the pain went away but when I woke up, aside from a dull pain remaining, it is gone.

Sounds like a very rough night, way to go on the weight, it feels so good when you can see that progress, it makes it all worth it.

48 lbs in 3 months is great. I'm at 34 for 3 months. That's the difference in our ages probably. Kidney stones sound bad.

I'm sure the age difference plays a role. 34lbs in three months is great too! I just checked and I have brought my BMI down from 49.3 to 41.3,

Thank you all for your kind comments! I am very proud to say I am at the 1/3 mark to my goal! Unfortunately I have found that once a year since grade eleven I have gotten a bad kidney stone in February or March, I was just a little behind this year. On the bright side, I had medication on hand and didn't have to go to a hospital but the down side is that hydromorph knocks me out cold and will make me very drowsy for 12-24 hours so I didn't get any proper exercise today

Protect thyroid, gallbladder and kidneys during dieting for starvation is not good on organs👍

Holy moly!! you've done so well! are you sure it's a kidney stone?? do you still have a gallbladder ? last time I tried to lose weight it trigger gallbladder attacks and I had to get mine removed.

I do have a gallbladder, I will keep that in mind. Don't worry Wynelle, I'm not starving myself by any means! There are days I'm having to force myself to eat to come close to my RDI
