Last night was one of the best deadlift sessions I've had in quite a while. I didn't hit any personal records, but the pulls went smooth and I felt strong.
I worked up to a heavy single @ 365 lbs.
Followed up with 5 sets of 3 @ 295 lbs (80% of the single).
Moved over to the leg press for 3 sets of 15 super-setted with calf press
Next was 3 sets of 15 on the lying leg curls
and finally I ended the workout with a superset of 4 sets of 15 on the seated calf raise and the grip machine.
Tonight is my night off from the gym, but I will be doing 15-20 minutes of speed rope to get a bit of cardio in.
