Got hungry for pizza and was going to buy frozen pizza when I bought my groceries yesterday. Then I thought about how much a frozen pizza costs and is it really worth it? It's not going to satisfy the craving like a pizzeria pizza can. Then I thought about how I used to make my own pizza and how good it was. Yep, figured out how to make a satisfying low-cal pizza at a very reasonable price....Just use Joseph's heart healthy pita, fresh mozzarella, some parmesan, some ricotta, Contadina squeeze bottle pizza sauce, garlic powder, and oregano. Baked it in the over at 400 for just 10 minutes! I'm not going to lie, it tasted like more. I was good and only had one. :)

Love this Magpie~ especially your thought process for figuring out how to make something for yourself that’d be tasty and have the essence of what sounded good..without overeating. Your pausing to think ‘do I really want to eat this..is there a better option or choice?’ is great self-care and experimenting..and lead to tasty solution! Not that you’ll never eat frozen or pizzeria pizza again..but not doing so on every whim can make all the difference to our health, well-being and positive sense of self. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Also- thanks for the pickled egg suggestion in a comment recently..I definitely plan to experiment with that.
