Oh I am DEFINITELY having chocolate tomorrow 😊 my coconut-filled easter egg just arrived! Good opportunity to train self control and not gobble on tasty treats just because they are available.

Yum!!!
Self-control is underrated. When I was in grade school, self-control was what people preached, and now it’s “call junk food addictive,” (which it is, but before you give it up, if you choose to give it up later on, you can settle for self-control for now as a crutch, or in the long run if you choose).
Calling junk food addictive, is technically true, but for some people, leads to binges. Will the goal be eventually cutting it out? For many of us, yes, or maybe not, for others. But few people can do that at first.

Oh self-control is definitely overrated. But I am someone who has always prepared the environment to fit my wishes, and never thought I could not eat something that is available when it’s available. You see, I always have a cup of coffee or tea at hand to fight boredom and the need to do something with my hands. Eating mindlessly just because food is in front of me happened too many times. So the concept os self control is actually… NEW in my vocabulary and range of behaviors. :)
