Happy Thanksgiving FS Family! No matter if you celebrate this American Holiday or not, it's a good day to ponder gratitude. Be thankful for all of the blessings in your life. Start off with the basics, I was able to get out of bed this morning. I could see the scale that I stepped on and it was down 3.2 pounds. Coffee is good. There are so many more that I could list, but that is a place to start. I feel great, rested and very alive. I have everything I need right here, right now. God is good all the time. I hope and pray that every single one of you can find something in your life to be grateful for, we all have rough paths at one time or another in our lives. Things don't go as planned, the rug is yanked from underneath us and our worlds turned upside down. Each of us in our own way learn, adapt, survive the tumble and eventually come out on the other side. Older, wiser and battle scarred. There has to be one thing that your are grateful for....what is that one thing? Celebrate it, embrace it, be joyful in it. May the day bring you blessings, peace and the greatest of all...Love!

That's a lovely gift Brenda! Glad you had a good day! @Sara normally I keep to around 40 carbs a day, but yesterday was an exception. I'm suffering no ill effects from it, everything is operating as it should be, my day was super busy and flew by fast. Hubby had leftovers and I passed on it today. Back to my regular program tomorrow. I complete my 24 hour fast at 8, but I will break it in the morning. I'm glad your friend has had good success with the gastric by-pass, it's something my Doctor said I might want to consider, but no, that seems like a permanent solution to a temporary problem...for me anyway. It's helped a lot of folks lose weight. I have never studied carb-cycling, I have heard people mention it but I have never looked at it closely....I just used it as a stand-in reason for the excess consumption of carbs yesterday. I did 208 and while the servings were small, they packed a huge carb punch with the sugar. But my workout in the larger post office this morning burned off the excess I believe. We had 4 - 7 foot high pallets of Amazon packages and 3 - 4 foot high boxes of Postal packages we had to scan and sort between 4 routes, we worked up a serious sweat and it was nearly 1,000 packages, then we delivered two days worth of mail to over 500 po boxes, then I went back to my little Post office and did the same thing there by myself, but I only have 360 boxes and no routes to deal with. I do think I did enough lifting, bending, squatting and tossing mail and packages to rival a gym workout! Gonna be sore tomorrow!!
