One issue with being a woman is how easily it would be to get discouraged by our menstrual cycle and all the weight fluctuations that comes with it. Even when you’re doing everything right and looking to results in the long run, moments count. I know I’m retaining water - it’s painfully (literally) obvious - but it would be so much easier to keep motivation without these stupid monthly fluctuations. Willpower isn’t free; it’s mental energy expenditure, and a harsh one.
