So..............I'm outta my groove. It's funny cause I see people on here rebuking themselves for a splurge here and there and I think "I don't wanna be one of those people"....well, kids....I am. I admit it. I got outta my groove over 4th of July weekend, now my hubby is away and I'm just eating whatever I want. Well that's just silly. So, here I am YET AGAIN mad at myself for that. Here we go again......silly Soco.....

That happens to all of us! It takes a re-set of your mindset. My son gave a Monday Morning Kickoff talk and spoke about success. He quoted someone (can't remember who) saying, "When you want to succeed as much as you want to breathe that's when you'll be successful!" How true is that? I have that on my fridge now. It helps. Best of luck!

Human after all? You're fine. I do it occasionally. I had a couple bowls of 'cereal' the other day (spelled Frosted Flakes - augh!)

Making the change the first day to stop the madness and get back on track is usually the hard part. You can do it....today's a great day to do it.

I think part of my problem is that I don't mind where I'm at...no it's not where I ultimately want to be but I think I look pretty good. That doesn't mean I should go out and gain 50 lbs in McDonald's but maybe I should maintain for a bit and see how I feel about it?

Think about fueling your body with healthy stuff at the maintenance calorie range - you will be eating more and probably can include some favorite things without gaining. You are doing so well - take care.

Thanks HCB, I enjoy eating healthy, I think though me worrying about every single thing I eat has just been taxing lately....if that makes sense...need to think less about numbers and more about just being healthy and active :)

I think you're right Linda...sometimes I'll eat something I shouldn't and be so upset I say Well screw it, might as well go for broke...a little splurge here and there is what I need, otherwise I feel so restricted...I feel like Dr. Phil self-analyzing myself lol
