💚Glad to hear your medical team is doing what they can. Have you tried yoga? It's very gentle stretching for the spine; it works wonders for me when my sciatica acts up.

I have the same diagnosis. Give pilates, acupuncture and chiropractor appoints a try, they help this condition enormously.

Pain stinks, same disease here. I walk a lot through injuries and pain. When the pains intense I take small, slow steps but it works. I started doing 30 Superman's 3 times each week to strengthen my back muscles. Of course this was after my last pinched nerve from the spine was healed and I started off very slow and gently. Might have looked like I was just lying on my stomach not moving during the first month to others at the gym but I was lifting upward lol. My back is stronger than it has ever been with less pain. Good luck with your progress, slow and steady wins the race.

same with degenerate discs... Chiropractors are tremendously helpful in recovery. i recommend UC-2 supplement. you take it nightly, empty stomachps. plus a good quality collagen!
i had herniated discs, L4-L6 S1 bulge compressing nerve, couldn't feel from thigh down on my right leg. took a year off from lifting and it was the hardest thing to do. i was a boxer for 10 years, competed for 3. It took a year before i could lift again and had to start with 5lb weights... ugh. keep us updated, we are with you!

While I am disappointed by this diagnosis for you this is not an immediate injury. This has been coming on for awhile on your body. Then I look at the accomplishments you made in the past months and years in changing to a healthier lifestyle. Thanks to those decisions you did not receive this diagnosis 50 pounds heavier! Well done! This too shall pass my friend! You stay strong and I will pray! 🙏

I can understand your pain. I had a spinal fusion one year ago and this is why I’m using this app. I am no longer able to exercise or move my body like I’m used to. I need to get some weight off to move my new body more easily. I wish you the very best! We got this!!
