When I lost around 15kg
The bad: I was colder than usual. Sitting was less comfortable.
The good: Perceived better by society. More energy. Access to better fashion.

Masenya1738, so very true. Was just complaining about that at lunch. Sat outside on picnic benches, boy are those uncomfortable!!!
Positive, having to buy new clothes and actually fitting in them. 😁😁

the bad: all the loose excess skin, saggyier boobs.
(but rather that than being obese)
the good: health (blood pressure and pulse) improved a lot. feeling happier as I clean out my closet. more energy, lots of positive comments and support. better love making techniques :D AND the best for me feeling more confident and the fact that I dont have to wear layer under layer to hide all the fat that wants to jump out.

Hi there - I have only lost about 9kg and already I am seeing a huge improvement in my "obesity incontinence". I am still about 30kg over weight. A while ago I did discuss same with my gynea - yes it will go away. Do your pelvic floor exercises and there are physios that specialize in incontinence (you don't have to take drastic measures - like an operation at your age). I breath much better, exercise is much easier - and mentally you are not dealing with that "disgust with yourself" feeling anymore. I feel so proud of myself. I am following a Ketogenic diet for the first time in my life and I feel great and not deprived and hungry all the time. Find a diet that is sustainable - don't deprive yourself.

Mainly health benefits. I have a skin condition called hidradenitis suppurativa, and also acne and losing weight had a positive impact on both of them

Petitdupjus, ah thank you so much. My trouble is I have been for an op two years ago but I think my bladder had dropped again. I'm not sure I need to go back to check, I've done some research and definitely need to make an effort to do pelvic exercises. Thanks again.
