I have been struggling with my mental health this past 2 weeks. I didn't feel like doing anything. I was binge eating a lot. Today I am starting up fresh and I pray that I don't fall back into that hole again.

My very much unsolicited advice would be to find something to do that distracts you. I would suggest a creative outlet of some sorts. For me that comes naturally because I am an artist, but it remains a choice. I often have to force myself to get up and go draw, paint, sew, crochet, knit...whatever my hands can find to do that will shift my mind and get me out of that hole. (always been a struggle between my ADHD brain and hormones) Full disclosure: I don't tend to binge eat...I stop eating which messes up my metabolism big time. Also, this has taken many years of prayer, so I can't take credit for any solutions. I can only honor God for that. I sincerely hope something of this will help you.

some more unsolicated advice, dont set yourself up for failure by expecting this to never happen again you're human. Give yourself the grace, long breaks when we not doing well is okay, we dont have to earn it. Goodluck :)

Don't be so tough on yourself. We all have tough days but it's how we get up. It's a fresh start and a new day. Be kind to yourself

We all go through emotional roller coaster and our minds often wonder off but hey, embrace anything that comes. Acknowledge the emotion and try find the trigger then do something about it usually eat fruits and vegetables for about 3 days straight...you will feel much better. Good thing you pray and meditate. Hang in there, you doing well ❤️

Trick is too keep busy. Soon as we relax and lay around we eat things we regret. Best is take a walk or do something

Keep busy. I have had this battle for many years. find a hobby something you love and focus on that or try something totally new....for me my usual things are creative, I have taken other things to keep busy too.....my husband wants me to have a house help but this is a good way for me to keep busy so I said nope, it's not the fun the tondo for me it's about keeping busy, so my day comprises of the following, I clean house, do washing, iron, do some creative projects and well in my old age I have started studying aswell. I have realised that I too am worth it, that, God created me just the way I am suppose to be despite the emotional ups and downs. I now invest time in ME and yes I have fallen off this ban wagon many many a time it's not about falling down, it's about keep getting up, pushing through. our minds our worst enemy. be strong, stay strong YOU GOT THIS
