Now that I am taking accountability on what I'm eating, there is another serious issue that I need to address... WATER!
I am that person who never drinks water. Maybe 8-16 oz a day. I know! I know! That's horrible. I've never liked water. Give me coffee or soda and I'm happy. I know we NEED water. A minimum of 64oz a day.
This past few days I've managed to drink a little more than normal. Today is my first real push into drinking more water. It's barely 10 o'clock and I've already drank about 16oz! I have been reading the comments and am going to try and do half my body weight in ounces a day. Meaning I need to be drinking about...140 oz a day! Oh boy. I can do this.

I find a big cup, with a straw, helps me drink more. I also have a reminder set on my watch every 1.5 hours. I've been drinking 1 gallon or more consistently, since January 1st.

I think the straw idea might help. I HATE cold water and think that might be part of my issue. So for now I'm getting it from the tap and getting it closer to the temp I...like. Thank you.

I never drink water!!! Im like a camel! Once large glass and im like "youre good" lol.

Try a sugar free water supplement like Mio. Lots of flavors. Or a squirt of fresh lemon. or try iced tea. Doesn't have to be plain water, just zero calories.

I love water. I only had two options as a child, milk, and water. We had very few choices other than tea on holidays. Even as a teenager eating fast food, I preferred a milkshake over soda. What I don't understand is nursing a 10-ounce bottle of water all day in the name of staying hydrated. I have a family member who does that, but they are doing better...

If you get bored with regular water, try Clearly Canadian every once in a while.

I’m lucky to drink 16oz too. I agree about the coffee.

Try putting in real lemons or limes. They have crystal lite packets too. Once a day I usually use an emergen C packet for warding off colds. Love the raspberry flavor. Or seltzer water has no calories or salt

I just remind myself more water less food. If I’m hungry, water.

The only thing that worked for me was buying 2 water bottles from Amazon ($10 each) that have the hours of 8am-7pm on them. (8-1 on left side of bottle then 2-7 on right side) The bottle can hold 32oz of water. You fill it up twice a day and you have had 64oz of water by 7pm. I bought 2 so I would have one ready and clean while the other was in the dishwasher overnight. Good luck!

Thank you guys so much for the feedback! I will say I didn't think the stuff that I drank counted I guess you could say. I drink a lot of like zero sugar sodas and drink mixes like what someone had suggested. Does that really count as like drinking water? Because I drink that stuff all day long just not plain water. However this last couple days I've drank at least 90 to 120 oz of plain water a day! I'm very proud of myself for that! Again thank you all so much for the feedback!

All I drank is water! I was a root beer junkie, but with God I went cold turkey. No root beer since January 4, 2023
