Oh Gill this looks amazing! Was it your own recipe?

Yes, it's the easiest curry sauce recipe in the world. Based on a Caldine curry. I made the sauce the other day for a prawn curry and had some left over. The okra was just basic garlic, ginger, spices and tinned tomatoes. The chapatis are so easy to make too!

Can't beat a nice peshwari naan, can you? That's my favourite but best left to the professionals, lol.

I think most people love a curry. The first curry recipe book I bought was by Madhur Jaffrey. I think curries have changes a lot since those days, we are more into creamy curries nowadays. My to go curry in the 70's was a chicken dhansak. The curry sauce that I make has cashews, coconut cream in block form, a whole bunch of coriander, garlic, ginger, spices and chillies. Simple. Just blitz it all up with hot water to dissolve the coconut milk. I usually add a chicken stock cube too. Good to experiment my friends. Hope Dave is reading this too x
