What had you been doing before this switch?
I always try to keep low calories, while maximizing protein and fiber. That equates to high protein, low carb (and the smartest possible carbs when I do indulge).

You really have to find what works for you. I was watching a video on that topic this morning -- different people really do respond differently to different diets. Some will do well on low fat, others low carb, others vegan or keto. Glad you found what works. I'll put in another vote for fiber -- incredibly filling for me
