Hubby walked with me today: we walked 2325 steps in 32 minutes. Went just a little further than yesterday. Sun was warm, but the wind was sharp and cold. I did not do my garden work today, but I am happy to say I have lettuce sprouting in the peat cups on my back porch.
The wind was so strong today, when we came back from our walk we saw the hay ring had rolled about 30 feet until the fence stopped it. For you city people, a hay ring is a big metal circle that fits down around a big hay bale to keep the cattle from trampling all over the bale. Hubby had left it standing on its rim off to the side so the cows could reach the last of that particular bale. It probably weighs about 70 lbs and is made from three separate parallel rings, so the cattle can reach their heads through to eat. I wonder how far it would have rolled if the fence had not been there!
I veered off my beef/butter/egg WOE for supper and drank a Melalueca protein powder smoothie with almond milk and peanut butter powder. It brought my total calories to 1297 for the day, but macros were still 11/69/20.
