Still can't shake the last of this clog in my upper chest so trying the raw onions soaked in honey trick. Worth a shot. Getting better, but not nearly as fast as I'd like. Weight is up, which I expected. Most foods are unappealing right now

You have really suffered with this.

Had a buddy try that mix but for a sore throat. Hope you clear up soon.

Suffering's probably a stretch, Morticia. Wasn't flattened by it, but it just keeps lingering! Amazingly... I think the onion-infused honey is helping!

I know you've been sick for a while. Is it the flu or Covid or do you know? I worry so much about getting sick right now when so much is going around. I was the only person in the grocery store yesterday wearing a mask.

Try water or dry fasting. It will get rid of whatever is causing it.

Fritzy, it appears to be just a long, long cold. I feel CONSIDERABLY better after doing the onion and honey thing, believe it or not

Thanks, buenitabishop! It really did get much better today 😊

Wyo, I just roasted the cauliflower. It's wonderful. The curry was wonderful. You were right. Mom just overcooked it. I will not be eating it raw, though, because I don't like the texture or bland taste. But for $4/head, it was well worth the try. So much so that I recommend it to absorb that raw onion breath you are probably rocking right now. 😯

🤣🤣🤣 Yeah, I've probably got onion breath, but it seems to have worked! Could be just coincidence, but feel SO much better. And in other happy news, I have a working furnace again 😃

Do you find that works for you, WHernandez? Probably not something I'd try, but thanks for the suggestion 🙂

Interesting trick. Glad it works out for you writing. Speedy recovery🌻

I should clarify, JB, that I don't eat the onions -- just let them soak in the honey for a while, then strain it and use it like cough syrup. Sounds terrible, but it's not too bad, actually. Between that and the endless stream of cups of tea with honey and lemon juice, I've pretty much been consuming my body weight in honey these last few days. Not my usual habit!

Hope you are better soon

I'm so glad to hear that, I guess the onions and honey worked pretty good then.

Ohhhhhh 🤣. I thought you were pickling the onions with the honey, not flavoring the honey! Good to hear that the furnace is working and that you've rounded the corner on the cold.

Hundred years ago you’d be using that combo as a poultice on your chest. Hope you’re feeling better today.
