Greetings Buddies!
OMG - it is the great mice caper once again! In the Spring and Fall, we tend to see a mouse or two in the house! The two Bengal cats usually roust them out or catch them.
BUT, OMG, today I opened the silverware draw and there was a mouse! I lost it and pulled out the whole draw and threw it in the kitchen sink with soap and HOT scalding water!
I think I lost my appetite...

Hate critters invading my house!! I get them in the fall and winter, have traps set much of the time in certain places. At least it's not coons in your attic!

LOL - WFN, we had a racoon family in the attic of the house we lived in before this one!!!

Wow, these comments had me laughing so much I cried. In high school, they were bad in the house. Our neighbor would fill her garbage can so much it wouldn't close and overflowed. On top of that, she would have it close to our gate.So when they were finished at Walgreens, they come to our house as if it was Sam's Club. One time when I was at the computer desk, I saw one staring at me. I was thinking to myself, I thought mice were blind.
I hope those Bengals get them!

I hate mices to pieces! Maybe leave your drawers & cupboards open at night to give the cats a better shot at them?

I too must buy some traps, as I think I can hear them behind the oven. The cat is curious too. They keep coming back and the exterminating companies want, like everybody else, a permanent monthly contract...

Try to find and fill every crack into the house with spray foam.

Hmmm....you win! I pulled our grill out of the garage and fired it up; came back in a few minutes to put the chicken on, lifted the lid and saw a mouse scampering between the grill plates and the fire!! I'm a softy, so got some release traps... I'm in Wellington, CO -- you??

Just a warning:: Per what a vet told me years ago. Don't use d-con or anything similar if you have a cat or dog that is a rodent hunter. Eating one that has eaten d-con can kill your pet. The coumadin it ingests from eating the critter can affect the cat or dog (had a dog that was a mouser) the same way it does a monuse. Also some of the mole treatment for your yard can harm them as well--my pup is a mole dog, she loves going after them.

YES- never would use a poison in the house with the cats - traps with peanut butter and stuffing up the cracks is what we are doing! It is a major pain every Spring and Fall!
