As my roommate always says, "Sweet Home Sweet!" Glad you're back safe and sound from your adventure. Hope the fire gets put out. And 3# is peanuts, girl! (For me, literally, lol.) 💕💕💕

Thank you sweet ladies. 💕 The smoke isn't letting up. Probably going to be like this for at least a week. When there's fire in the Gila, the rugged terrain makes it tough to put it out. I got outside to do some clean up in my Frilly side garden yesterday and today, but only for a few hours. Looking forward to a trip to Las Cruces next week for a hair appointment. I'm consulting with Paul and Peter to see if there are extra funds to stay in smoke-free Las Cruces for a couple of days. 🙏🤞😄

Nothing like smoke to make one appreciate air!!! We had it bad a few years ago and it was rough! I bought some air purifiers for future. Now I run them all the time. I probably should buy replacement filters! I hope it won't be too bad for you. Getting away from it is a great idea if you can!

Bear, it's getting better, but only because the winds are blowing the smoke away from our area. It's only burned 2 structures, so that's good , but it's getting really close to about 4 towns. Sure hope they're able to get control of it soon. 🙏

That's good but still hard to rest until it's out! I hope the smoke stays down wind!

Ugh, sorry I haven't responded. All is well as can be expected in our valley, still smokey and still burning. We are able to get outside in the afternoon and Joe stays out there longer than I do, but I am encouraging him (not too subtly) to not be outside too much. Many more people have reason to be concerned that are close to the fire, so I haven't any complaints. Life is always good. Thank you everyone. ❤️
