Warning~~~For 48yr old females & Above only. :-)
TOM today...for May!!! Grrr. I hate that. I'm like clockwork. Can pin-point the date (or used to). So, toward the end of last month I start thinking, Okay...is THIS the month I'm going into Menopause??? LOL...Not that I'm rushing to that 'stage'!!

I woke up this morning thinking, Oh Great...NOW you want to show up? TWO weeks late...Thanks. (rolling my eyes)

The last 2 weeks of extra PMS (a.k.a. Rage) has been no picnic around here (just ask my husband, bless his heart) BUT, that's okay. At least the PMS is gone...and so is my McGruff impersonation

Got slowing going today with my exercise routine. Clearly, "The Ole Gray Mare just ain't what she used to be". lol (borrowed that line from my grandma)! :-) Not quite a Full workout, but the exercise helped me snap outta the Twilight Zone. I'm not ready to go all "Ms. Marple" just yet!

It's really a beautiful day outside. Gonna go Enjoy it!
Have a Great day, everybody!
:-)

48? You're only a baby yet. Don't want to depress you but I was 57 when I had my last TOM. Thought I was going to be the only pensioner still going LOL!

lol Well thanks flaxseed...just when I thought I was seeing the finish line. ;-) With my luck, I'LL be the one most likely to win the "only pensioner" award. HaHaHaHa! But Love being considered 'a baby' LOL So true, Madaboutmoose~~the joys & perils...Yikes! :-)

LOL 57?!?! Ow.. well here's (hoping?) you get to it soon. Kinda... no one wants the hot flashes. I watched my mom go thru it 2 years ago (she was 49 so there's still some hope RTX!) and everytime she had a hot flash, I could see the devil in her eyes. I always had a fan nearby when she would visit. She went from hungry lion to tame little kitten in a few seconds. PHEW!!

LMAO @ "the devil in her eyes" (that's HILARIOUS). Your comment is really cracking me up! lol..well, it is for Now! :-) I think my husband secretly thinks I'm going thru it already. lol...especially the lion/kitten thing! ;-) My mom eased into it (NO problems), but I remember my grandma going thru it. I remember asking her~~how long does it last? She said~~~just a flash! LOL Unfortunately, those 'flashes' are on-going. I can't imagine what her generation endured before all the newer 'stuff' that's 'supposed' to make it more comfortable! If what I'm going thru now is ANY indication of what's to come...I'm in for a rough ride! Hold on to your hats! lol

It has been a long time since I have thought about TOM but, you made me laugh and remember those days. You always put a smile on my face and I treasure your encouragement.

I am 61 and no longer experience a TOM but oddly still feel some emotional fluctuations, much milder, a sort of psychological cycle, so I get PPSS--that pre psychological cycle syndrome. Maybe related to the moon phases? I asked my doctor if I was crazy and she said there is still some hormone production going on. I used to turn into Bride of Frankenstein in the old days but now my hair just frizzes out a bit. Re: weight loss--I sure wish i could break 200 and it's harder at my age. I think I would be so happy if could do that! Congratulate yourself on each success--any suggestions on how to keep motivated? Good luck to all.....

I stopped at the warning (didn't qualify) and shall return another day. The chart looks like you are well on your way to the big time. :-)
