I'm back doing high protein low carb. I noticed I wasn't getting all the nutrients I needed plus, I had gone back to old habits. Sodas, sweet tea, etc. Even candy bars once in a great blue moon (not often.) I regret not sticking to high protein low carb in the first place. Vacation got the blame then the holidays. I know being back down to 329lbs has been hard to do when spiraling out of control. I'll admit that it doesn't take long to realize what I was doing was only harming myself and no one else. Now that I'm back on track for good, I see where I need to change myself.

The thing about carbs is they are delicious, but they cause you to want more of them. For me they're addictive. When I slip and creep into more and more carbs, that's when I stall and gain. If you fill up on protein and veggies, you'll win this game. You'll never overeat protein, plus it keeps you satisfied for much longer. When I eat carbs, I just want more and more and two hours later again.

atkins has a carmel nut roll that is awesome. It is great when you want something sweet.
