🙋‍♀️Welcome to Motivational Monday! Shoutout to anyone struggling today! You can do it!

I've been struggling with food for months. I do walk more but I go thru days of just not doing anything. I want to accomplish so much but feel like a big rock planted on the couch. I eat healthy then want a whole chocolate cake or 3 large bags of chips. Endless mind chatter. I am easily overwhelmed which is odd since I know I AM A STRONG PERSON. Last night, I stopped myself heading over to convenience store to buy junk. I looked at pictures of very fit women. I thought about how I once liked lifting weights in the gym, that satisfying steam after a hard sweaty workout, how I felt so physically alive. I want to be HER again! I put on a soothing positive affirmation video loop while I browsed thru Amazon for cute fashion items. I was OKAY!

I know when I want specific junk food, I am trying to feed my head or heart hunger. I will eat an apple or carrots when I truly feel physically hungry for a snack. Do you use mindful or intuitive eating? Any tricks to quell that compulsive head chatter telling you to eat eat eat?
