... a few months before covid I did a 35 day water fast.
No food other than omega 3 and a multivit. I’d heard from the intrawebs that death could set in at about 50 days, so I figured I’d be ok to aim for 42 days of not eating. I liked the idea of some fat loss, some spiritual insights, and I wanted to experience what real hunger felt like.
Towards the end, I was so weak I had to crawl from my bed to the bathroom to vomit, and my eyesight was deteriorating rapidly, so I stopped. It was an amazing experiment, but it’s not for everybody.
I broke my fast with delicious watermelon
