Ok, so I increased my calories to 1500 per day. Today I ate quite a bit more food than usual and I also ate many more carbs than usual. It's now 7:30pm and I must say I am feeling pretty sluggish, bloated and kind of lazy. I realized that I feel much better if I keep the carbs down, the dough from the pizza(haven't had pizza in probably a year) was just too much!!! Good to know!

Diet Calendar Entry for 16 January 2011:

We never stop learning here and it's a good thing:) I'm usually ok with up to 180g of good carbs a day which is about 45% of total calories. Have a pleasant evening!

I' m not sure if I'm reading my carbs correctly in my daily intake but it looks like i ate 139carbs(g). I can't imagine that you could eat 180g and still be so slim. Wow, what's your secret...haha.

ali, I try to have good carbs only. If you see my food intake you'll see what I eat. This morning's pancakes were very unusual although it was organic stone ground 100% whole wheat:)

Thanks for the reply, I really appreciate it! Although I've been a big fan of FS for qutie some tiime, I haven't really gotten full use of it. for example, how can i see your food intake??? I looked but I'm not finding it. I am also trying to find buddies that share my desire for healthy eating and putting myself out there to gain more knowledge. Thanks again. ~Ali

If you click "happynow" or any other buddies name then you'll find diet calendar and if you click any total calories, it's gonna show the details. Let me know if you can find it. Hope this helps:)
