I have to admit I am not doing well. I did not want to journal about it as it sound like whining all the time. I do not feel well since I had flu mid December and I do not know if it is mental or some kind of flu aftermath and low grade inflammation. It might be winter depression. I don't know. I am lethargic, no energy whatsoever. Constantly in pain, mostly headaches. Cannot make myself do anything. Have to go to bed at 9 but then do not sleep well either. Sleep almost till midday on weekends when I do not have to go to work. As always when I feel like that, I stop paying attention to what I eat and it only makes things worse. When I am so low on energy I start eating more carbs as it gives me the feeling that I get energy, but I only gain weight. Cannot exercise, i am practically fainting if I try, could barely make myself walk last weekend. I know that I will start feeling better soon, but I hate feeling like that. In addition I will have to start over and lose all this extra weight when I get better.

What I will try to do based on my reading. Spend more time in the sun. Resume my magnesium regiment, try to add epsom salts. Now that I do not have a nice soaking tub in our new house this might be challenging. Figure out how to incorporate complex carbs while still limiting grains and gluten. Figure out how to eliminate snacks while still keeping blood sugar levels at bay. All this snacking on fruit when I am hungry did not do me any good. I.e. I do not want to go low carb again but find a reasonable balance. Drag myself out of this misery. I can try this potato thing, it sounds reasonable.
