Thank you Carol! It really was. This was my first time trying the chickpea pasta and it was actually super tasty. I boiled it, drained it, then warmed up some minced garlic in the pot with it. 😋😊

Thank you liv and Jenny 💜 it turned out really yummy even though I had made the pot roast on Wednesday and didn't get to eat it fresh. 😊😋 I was definitely looking forward to it during my fast lol it sure felt like forever to wait.

Leftovers are the best they seem to taste a whole lot better the next day

Jenny, you're right! Some things have to be eaten fresh, but others are sometimes even more flavorful as leftovers. Like my meatloaf. I love my leftover meatloaf. Lol

I often make pot roast purposely to eat the next day.

One of my favorites is beef brisket omg its delicious have you ever tried a grilled cheese meatloaf sandwich its very good I have put almost every meat on a grilled cheese sandwich I love it lol

Kenna, that's definitely something I'll be doing now too. We don't usually have roast left over lol but this time I made sure to pack mine so it wouldn't get eaten up with the rest.

Jenny, yum! No I haven't tried it that way. I have had a leftover meatloaf sandwich and a cheesy meatloaf burrito(my fave) 😋

WOW! 68 hrs👍 Very impressive and inspirational. a whole lot of brand new cells being created there. I don't normally see much fasting here. 45 is my longest sofar. You Rock!

Jenny, you won't regret it. Lol so yummy. Thank you, I hope you have a blessed day as well. 💜

Insidious, thank you! I don't share all of my fasts. I figure people will get annoyed lol I do intermittent fasting every day. Between 18-20hrs or more if I'm feeling strong enough to take on any longer. My longest was 78 hours. Now that one was hard. I even did HIIT during the 76hours of it. I wouldn't recommend unless you're one of those who are hard-core experienced fasters. I had the worst acid reflux ever that lasted for two days later 😬 45 is pretty long too though! I get pretty hungry on the second day so I really have to keep that mind over matter going and distract myself until it goes away.

Its my pleasure, Bree. I'm working up to longer n longer fasts. I went 48hr. the day I first read this post. I don't know how to say what I'm about to say so, I'll just type n hope I'm not to goofy. I incurred some brain damage back in the beginning of May and was hospitalised for 30day. So I'm looking, researching how to repair the damage.. There are many things that occurs at different hours of fasting. . I'm having some trouble thinking right now. I don't know how many hours it takes to get the benefit of when ketones start eating, bad, dead and irregular cell then creates new cell to replace the ones it ate. . sorry. I'll try to get this info right after I get restt

Good morning Insidious, you don't sound goofy at all. I hope you're recovering well. 🙏 Fasting is an excellent way to repair cells! According to my fasting app once you're 24 hours into your fast your body goes into ketosis and after 72+ hours you go into deep ketosis where autophagy accelerates. 😊
