does anyone know how to work out calories burnt when walking with leg weights?

Good question I would also be interested in knowing the answer. I walked up hills with ruck sack with two house bricks in it, when I was younger now I am older I’m not that daft any more. I hope you get your answer take care.

Thinking about it,if you weigh 70 KGS and walking at 3mph and you use up 210 calories/hour, that would be 3 calories/ kg/hour. So if your leg weights are 1kg each you would use up 6 cals/hour more making 216 cals/hour. Food for thought. possibly not right.
