Not a good day for the exercise part of my life. Or the food part. It's just a yucky day all in all. I had a great run yesterday and felt wonderful. As the day went on my right leg started to be sore. So I stretched and got my husband to rub it for me. This morning my hamstring hurts so very bad. I have been stretching as much as I can, and when Abby went down for her nap I went on the treadmill to try and loosen it up. I started walking and walked until I felt pretty warm and loose. But when I started my run, OUCH!!! Back to walking. After a cool down and more stretching, I just sat back and cried. This happens to me all the time. I get into a really great exercise groove and can't wait to do it, then my right hamstring hurts. I don't even remember feeling pain while running yesterday. Now I'll have to take some time off and start my training all over again. Back to week 1. It's really frustrating. So what else do I do after crying? Eat. Bad. I had a small bowl of this marshmallow, coolwhip, coconut, cherry, pecan fluff stuff. Now I feel even more yucky. I'm sure I'll show a gain this week. Especially missing some exercise time. Sad. Sorry to be so mopey today. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Don't let a bad day ruin your week. You'll work through this and figure something out. I replied to your message with some info. I hope it helps!

Hang in there - Kiddo! You have what my son calls a "tight hammie." Pop those Advil if you can and listen to yourself rather than my crummy advice if you like. Who am I to say? I have never run anywhere in my life. We admire your discipline!

Oh gee how awful! Im sure I dont understand the depth of your injury or pain but perhaps a low impact exercise like swimming or yoga until your leg heals more? Don't let it get you down and just get right back in the game. Your chart looks great so don't allow a bad day to turn into more than that. Hang in there.
