Time to rock this weight loss out! I get $5 off each office visit in the month of January as long as I lose 2 lbs in the week. It's not a lot of money but gives me a tangible goal and accountability.
The new year is the excuse I need to come on strong and dispel the fog of apathy I have been lost in for the last 3 months. The world didn't end in 2012 so I can't quit either.
Today I am starting at a new client site, as well. I've been scoping out the options for setting a meal and water intake routine while I am here. There is a sad little break room (better than no break room) and a cafe within walking distance. There aren't a lot of healthy options at the cafe but the walk is definitely a good thing. Today I had the bacon cheeseburger with no bun. There is a salad bar, also. Methinks I better start getting on the ball to pack a lunch.
Stress levels are still high but I am doing what I can to mitigate it. I have another meeting with my dad and the step-monster next week. I was up late last night fretting about it, as usual. I gotta let things go, but how?
I've decided I will not allow myself to spend any more money on clothes until I am in the next size down. I've become a real clothes horse as of late. I guess I got spoiled when I was dropping a size every other month. That gives me all the more motivation to see this weight loss thing, through.
