Went to Red Lobster. Ate a total of 48 carbs. I did have 1 cheesy biscuit(17 carbs). It didn't taste good like I remember. Oh well, my husband said it's your b-day have one. But the rest of the dinner was great. Lobster, shrimp, scallops, garden salad, broccoli and lemon water. No alcohol. They have a sheet in the back of their dessert and beverage book that gives you carbs for most things. That's how I figured them out. I don't know how to put them into my food diary as a total without having to log every single thing. I tried and the whole page went crazy. I've been trying to get it straightened out for a half hour. Turned my computer off and it didn't help. Tried different browsers. Came back to the one I always use and it was fixed. Not sure what I did, but here I am and everything is fine. Yah!

I think that's what I like best about Atkins... you can start induction any time you want too and still be on the right track! I'm glad you had a great time!!

I don't use the food diary because before they had it counting carbs I memorized most carb counts for things so it's just easier to type it into my journal. You did good at dinner, it was your birthday after all! It is interesting to me how high-carb foods don't taste as good as I remember. I think it was the addiciton that made me like them more than the flavor. Now sweet things are too sweet and breads are tasteless. It is strange how the body adapts.
