Happy Friday to all. I finally saw the surgeon and am scheduled for a knee arthroscopy with debridement and meniscectomy next Friday the 15th. I am praying for a successful surgery and speedy recovery. I then hope to add some physical activity such as walking to my daily routine.
The scale is still not moving. As others mentioned on a previous post I made, I think I need to be more exact on my calorie counts. I am logging everything I eat, but estimating ounces, grams, cups, etc. of those items. I have found my old food scale and dusted it off. Now, I just need to start using it. If that does not help, I will re-evaluate my caloric intake. The main thing is, I will not give up. My life depends on this.
Also, I am snacking in the middle of the night again. Ugh. Old habits! I am logging the calories, but seeing my intake creeping up. I know it is stress related with the pain, surgery and career situation. I just need to refrain when that urge hits. I mean I am literally sleeping for a couple of hours, wake up, go to the kitchen and snack, then back to bed. If I don't get the snack, I seem to lay their for hours not being able to go back to sleep. Once I fill my tummy, off to sleep I go. I just don't understand it.
