Really? Ok but that was just breakfast. I’m trying to do keto just starting. Two scrambled with two slices of turkey ham, a small salad with lettuce some slices of cucumber with peel, a couple of flowerettes of cauliflower, two turjey hot dogs slices on top of it and one tablespoon of ranch dressing. How can that be all my macros? Or is this just for one meal?

If those are just for breakfast you're doing pretty well. I try to keep 10% carbs 70% fat 20% protein. Those are the ones that work for me, although I have not managed to keep them for weeks. Lol, it's been a couple of difficult months for me. When I get my ideal macros and I consume only 1300 calories, I lose one kilo per week. 😁

wow thats pretty awesome! thats a couple pounds. so my question is if u can help me understand the reading, if it tells me i have reached my macros its for that just one meal or for the day?

The pie-chart will give you the total Macros for the day. So if you are only one meal in that's where you stand so far. I try to overload on fat first with cream, coconut oil and butter in my coffee and then add protein and some carbs later in the day. I aim for 1400 per day but go over a little bit.

My macros with just my coffee so far are 9% carbs, 90% fats and 1% protein. By the end of the day it will even out to my targets.

00marx00 thanks so much for the insight I’m really new at keto and I’m kind of lost I fell one single meal Takes all the carbs and I thought I had done good with breakfast

Most of my daily carbs come from the lime juice I add to y mineral water I drink all day. I do add veggies for fiber and nutrients but I keep them low early in the day so I have some wiggle room for later. Keto is a different way of thinking than normal diets but it's worth it as I'm not starving all day on the carb roller coaster effect. Hang in there.

00Marx00 I read that you live in Mexico as do I. I live in Tijuana which I guess leaked it easier to get stuff for the eating plan but budget is tight so it’s not always easy. Where do you shop and wheee do you live what state? What’s your typical meal look like?

@Patty G Valazquez Patty, I live in San Cristobal DLC in Chiapas. There's a lot available here so I don't find it too difficult for the diet. San Cris has a pretty good amount of tourists so the markets stock some international foods. We have a big Chedraui market, a couple other chain stores and there's always a little tienda around the corner for whatever I need. There's also an ancient open-air mercado that must have been in the same location for a couple hundred years where the indigenous sell locally grown fruits and veggies. I think I miss pickles the most, different sausages, and some spices I can't find here. It's also very cheap to live here in Chiapas so it's very relaxing compared to living in Chicago. My meals aren't that different from anywhere else, maybe I eat a little more chorizo than when I lived in the States, but not by much.
