TXSnowman's Journal, 23 December 2021

So, I always weigh myself first thing in the morning right after I wake up. However, yesterday I needed a verified weigh-in for a Healthy Wage challenge. I weighed in during the evening and I got a weight of 276.2, which was higher than expected. Got up this morning and I weighed 270.8. 5.4 lbs lighter. After reflection, it makes total sense. The doctor has me drinking 140 oz of water per day. Thats 8.75 lbs of water. By morning, its mostly gone. Anyway, happy with the drop of 3 more lbs. We'll see what it is Monday, after the Christmas weekend.
270.8 lb Lost so far: 59.2 lb.    Still to go: 80.9 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

Man this speaks to me in many ways. I'm probably going to sound like an idiot.. My more recent goal was to get down to 210. I've been hovering around 216/217. I'm like man maybe this is it. Then a guy tells me the other day with me drinking over a gallon a day I'm probably holding 8 to 10 lbs of water weight each day for the 3 months or so I've been doing it. So now I'm torn on stopping creatine and that much water a day. Or staying with it as I like how I look and feel.

Joe8588, I always thought I was drinking enough water, but my GP & Nephrologist both kept telling me I was dehydrated. I only learned a couple of months ago that there is a formula for the right amount of liquid to intake per day. Its ounces of liquid equal to 1/2 your weight in pounds. So at 216, you'd want 108 oz of liquid per day.
