Ran a fairly easy 3.3 miles this morning with these ten little stubby 1/4 mile back-to-back hills that got me to an overall elevation of 150 ft. Just enough change to break up the monotony. Enjoy running to the beat of an obnoxiously loud boom box tuned to a contemporary Christian radio station. I'd run to country music, but I'm afraid that all that crying, in conjunction with my already profusely sweating body, just might drown me. :)

All of my buddies know that I went back to weighing-in daily. And you also know that daily weigh-ins will show pretty dramatic daily fluctuations. However, when I go up a pound, I just love it (NOT) when FS tells the world that I am gaining at a rapid rate of 8 lbs. per week. Come on, am I really? Of course, if I lose a pound, I'm losing at a rapid rate of 8 lbs. per week, and I'll reach my goal in 5 weeks. I wish! Which is better: to just report the facts, or to make outrageous predictions? I think the former. IMHO.

It's the last week of January, and it feels almost like spring here; we'll get up around 35F today, and be somewhere near 40 with sunshine for the weekend. Although I love this, and can't complain, I know that it is creating havoc elsewhere, especially in the south, with an abundance of thunderstorms and tornadoes, and I really feel for those
people experiencing that severe weather so early in the year.

I'm probably not going to recall of my favorites right now. I have been to 3rd Day (with The David Crowder Band) and Big Daddy Weave Concerts , and I liked both of them. I also like Casting Crowns, Matthew West, MikesChair, Nicole C. Mullen, and Mercy Me.
