DairyKing's Journal, 19 January 2012

Slept in until 4:30 this morning. No running today. I know I should be doing other aerobics on days that I don't run, but I haven't gotten the exercise bike or the eliptical trainer moved over to the school yet. While I may run outside in the morning when it's very cold, I can't bring myself to go bicycling under cold icy conditions. It should be a fairly uneventful rest day. It's supposed to get down into the teens tonight, with wind chill near zero. We've had such a mild winter so far that I really can't complain about a cold freeze here and there. I've come out of my feeding frenzy and have stabilized. I'll be weighing in tomorrow, but I'm not expecting much of a loss - if any. I'm just not expecting a gain now.

I'll bet you are in MN. That's the only place I know of that has a Fogo de Chao where it's that cold. You just keep those temps up there, thank you very much!

Oh wow, I woke up to -42 and that's about as warm as it is going to get here today, oh and that is with an extreme wind chill! It's so cold you don't even want to sit by a window never mind running outside. Your skin will freeze (if exposed) in under 5 minutes! I shouldn't complain though because we too have had a very mild winter, until now! Oh and definitely NO biking outside here lol! Stay warm my friends!!

Ya, I need to! I live in Winnipeg and ya that's just another normal winter day for us (totally kidding, normal is -26ish)! LOL

Let me go ahead and scratch the idea of driving up to take in a Wild/Jets game!

Yes. I am in MN. We've also had a mild winter. It was almost 50 a couple of weeks ago - warmer than Dallas, TX! And Tarla - whoa! That's cold! I'm assuming you are saying normal temps are -26 C? I know -40 is the same in both F and C. Dang that's cold! We get wind chills that low often enough. I believe there was a day last winter where it got that cold in northern MN.

LOL the weather might suck by taking in a Jet's game is like nothing you've ever experienced before! It's the MTS experience!! Something has to be hot when it's this cold! LOL

Well, I looked up the average temps for Winnepeg; it looks like it will be safe to go outside sometime in April. :)

@tglenna- Yes, that's right -26 C or -14 F, that's about the normal around here. @DariyKing- Thanks, I will be hibernating until then lol
