I love to read and analyze what people are doing to be so successful with their weight loss and exercise plans! Great job everyone! And thanks for being so supportive and sharing your tips and stories!

On Friday I wanted to go for an aquasport class, do my cardio, then do a yoga class; that completely was not working; had to take the baby to the dr and take him with me to the gym babysitting . ... ended up doing the yoga class; today I went for a nice walk outside; not as intense, but easier to get in a walk; all I need is my 2 legs; but problem is one of my legs has these varicose veins popping out on my shins and it hurts so badly!

that was the best I could do for exercise today; i walked in and everyone needed me! I was barely gone for an hour . . . .

enjoy the day everyone!

Exercise is exercise. Walking is great. So is being active. So great job! Sorry about your leg pain. Do you think walking caused it?

Great job on the exercise! I was having some problems with my leg but mine was cramping and toes cramping at night. Read online might be manganese def, almonds (which I slacked on) helped the last two nights. Hope your leg pain is better!!

Do have anywhere that you could do water aerobics? It is so much easier on the joints.

Thanks for the buddy request. So flattering! I am excited. A nice casual walk is good for the soul and maybe what is good for the soul is also good for the body. I respectfully disagree with the comment that reads, "Exercise is exercise." Not all exercise is the same. Let's go for a nice "mix" of various kinds of exercise. What do you say?

i tried a pool class last week and i really liked it; it was much harder than i anticipated . . . the resistance is greater than i thought! i'm going to try to go again this week! that's interesting about cramps and manganese def; i get terrible cramps at night which is different than this vein throbbing thing that's going on . . . . i use 'gewhol fusscraft' which i buy online from nordstrom and it's made of natural oils and has some sort of healing affect on my cramps and muscle pains . .. . the relief goes a long way!

@teacher: it's my honor! you are right; i agree that what is good for the soul is also good for the body; they go hand in hand; i also tried a yoga class these past 2 weeks which speaks to my mind body and soul! and boy do i need it all!
