Good morning, FS Warriors! Been fighting fires at work, and just now got a chance to check in. I hate it when work interferes with my personal time. Got up at 4:30 this morning for my rendevous with Jillian. Figured I didn't have to get up so early since I wasn't running, and I probably wouldn't make it through the workout with her anyway. Surprise! Made it through the whole thing. It was brutal, but I made it. Still ended up being rushed to make it out the door on time to get to work. Interesting thing about it is that my HR stayed about the same as it does for my 30 minute run. That's good to know: I'm getting about the same aerobic benefit out of either one. You don't need to tell her that though, she's already cocky enough. My quads are sore. I don't know if it was because of taking the run outdoors yesterday, or pumping up those hills on the bicycle the night before that. I suspect the bicycle. Either way, going down the stairs isn't as fun as it used to be. They'll come out of it; I've had a lot worse. I've got to run in the morning regardless. Didn't make much progress on the diet yesterday; pretty much another bomb. Ate a light breakfast, and am planning the same for lunch, but DW is still undecided what we are going to have for supper. If it's really good, I hope I exercise portion control; if it's not one of my favorites, then it won't be a problem. She can't do that too often though, because then I would be back to stopping at McDonalds on the way home again. Oh well, life is just so . . . what's the word? Interesting. Well, got to go. Toodles!
