ok I am losing my focus! maybe it's being stuck in the house for so long; all the kids snacks everywhere . .. i had potato chips . . .. they weren't even so salty . . . . and damn vitacost for sending me a free kind bar; i had that also! sigh..... but bless naps in the sun with baby and making mushrooms and scallions omellettes in the morning with my big guy!

Do the kids a favor and give them snacks they'll enjoy and not curse in the years to follow.
When a pup our snacks were apples, pears, oranges, and the occasional special treat of peanut butter laces celery sticks. Unfortunately I matured to Lay's potato chips and the inevitable obesity, but that's the nightmare of succumbing to commercials and Q&D prepared fast foods.
The big guy's lucky to have a peach, mushroom and scallions omelette, a dish devine. <3 <3 <3

the big guy is my 9 year old! he has a very sophisticated pallette! unfortunately my husband is a junk food junkie! . . . the baby's favorite color is green; and that includes all green veggies also .. . . my daughter however, gags at anything that is a real food!
