Rumor has it we are going to lose electricity again, and we are having another official snow day. Anything I did not get to do the other day with the kids, we can do today . . . .while I'd like to spend quality time with the kids, it's going to end up being a lot of tv watching, and chaotic moments of kids fighting over the ipad . . . I also am short on baby supplies, but me the kids and the car are not going anywhere . . . . my hands are so chapped they are bleeding . . .I'm feeling really down today. I got it in my head that I hurt people's feelings, and I didn't mean to, and that's haunting me. I did not think exercising would have a negative affect on those days I do not exercise, but that is when I get all those weird feelings. I woke up thinking it's definitely my insulin levels playing tricks on me. And I'm not going out for a walk or to the trainer within the next few days . . . The insulin resistance is a mean cycle to break . . .. .

I'm feeling your pain, sweet friend. I, too, get crabby when I can't workout. I was able to get a home workout in this morning, but its not the same as going to an exercise class which is my preferred way to exercise. Hang in there & be kind to yourself. We all say things we wish we hadn't, or realize after the fact that we didn't word something the way we'd wished in hindsight. xoxox

Tulip: don't worry about a thing - you will survive another day! Say positive affirmations over and over until they drown out the "down" feelings. I am sending positive vibes and praying your spirits are lifted!

I can relate to the down/negative ideas gaining strength and foothold on the days I don't exercise. Being housebound with nothing but kids, TV and four walls can bring out the beast in me. I don't have my own children but I was a nanny for many years and even with my own neices & nephews, if we don't get to go outside and roughhouse, it's ruinous! Take care of yourself as best you may and then forgive yourself. I keep hearing this message of forgiveness everywhere....we must all be in need of it.

I don't think I even know what a positive affirmation is! My life is filled with negative people and I am afraid I am one myself! I might need a tidal wave of good vibes for it to affect me . . . Thank you for the positive energy Jenn!

thanks for your comfort sweet ce! i find myself wondering how you are so sweet even on the screen and through the internet? yes, maybe we need to forgive and move on, but how do we forget and change?
