Another Victory day! Kept well under my RDI. Of course, this is only the 2nd day of being back on track, but every Victory day is a day absent of Defeat. The weather is absolutely beautiful, but because it is easier to track and control my workouts, I have constrained myself to the treadmill. That's not to say, I can't go for an additional bike ride or run, but I have to do the regimented workout on the treadmill - at least until I've made it to the 30 consecutive minutes of running. So, tonight after supper, DW asks me if I would like to go out on the patio and have coffee. Of course, I have already started stepping toward the bedroom to change into my running clothes, when I say, "Of course, Dear; I was on my way to the treadmill, but it can wait." I know about the quality of life, and I want to keep enjoying mine. So, I still managed to get my workout in, and done, about half an hour before bedtime. Life is good. I still have a few Career Aspiration one-on-ones with my team tomorrow, and then it's "Hello Weekend!" Got an appointment with the Sandman in a few minutes, so . . . Toodles!

Good for you to keep enjoying the little things and not letting exercise just take over.. and you still got it done!! Great job.. This journal reminds me of a saying I have hanging in my house "For every minute you spend angry, you lose out on 60 seconds of happiness.."

That's a good saying, Erika. A merry heart does good like a medicine. Did you ever notice that grumpy old people don't live as long? I'm thinking there is a connection. Shooting for 110 myself.
