The Love of Fit's Journal, 07 May 2014

I got up for the gym this morning and I looked and felt so bloated. It's so much easier if you just stick to the lifestyle change instead of having to push back through what you've already defeated. I should read this next time haha. BUT my cousin's wedding is in a month so I'm really going to try to stick to the new challenge (not eating after 7) and my diet. Hopefully I'll see some changes.

Today:
800 - Step Fitness Class
930 - Homemade Apple Oatmeal
1100 - Mango and Dried Cherries
230 - Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich
400 - Almonds and Dried Craisins
530 - Spin Fitness Class
700 - Vegan Pizza

Total: 1422 (I'm going to try to hold out on a glass a chocolate soy milk but if it's added - 1512)

Yes double gym today to try to make myself feel better - too bad you can't sweat it all off in a day.

Great job on going to the gym twice! Was the vegan pizza homemade? I'm looking for any lower calorie pizza that I can eat without going over my RDI!

Btw. I accidently bought chocolate soy milk when I was buying my kids milk it is super yummy;-) and don't worry if you do have it I find drinking a bit of chocolate milk sometimes helps me to not pig out on other sweet things to in the evenings!

Could you stir your peanut butter into your oatmeal, and later when you are hungry eat your banana plain? You would save the calories of the bread (60-100 depending on the kind you have) and you might lose more weight before your cousin's wedding. Not saying you would have to give up your PB Banana sandwich forever. Only temporarily. Just a thought.

Njaskha8 - I actually really enjoyed having a glass. Definitely helps my sweet tooth (because it's clearly not going away) and it's more filling than mindlessly snacking. I bought it frozen (Vita, it's 190 calories. But definitely curbs cravings). Deb - I ended up with the sandwich because I'm almost never home. It's my meal for when I'm at work or at school (so I can avoid eating other foods that I don't know what goes into it). My bread's 100% whole wheat and the pb is all natural. Perhaps I'll try super calorie cutting a couple weeks before (I'm just not good at that at all haha). Thank you for the tip!

Not into banana and peanut butter sandwiches. Couldn't you mush them up a bit and mix them together. Maybe a no sugar less fat peanut butter. Or even those real thin slices of bread. Just throwing it out there.

Don't push yourself too much at the gym because, to exercise regularly, it's important not to make it a nightmare! lol :) It has to be somewhat enjoyable! Good luck with your objective!
