Well I put all the food I ate (the good and the bad)and I am surprised that I did not go over my daily calories. I thought for sure when I ate another serving of corn bread then I would be in deep shit. Now let me explain why I ate another serving of cornbread it is because I am a terrible cook. There I said it and I messed up the fish really bad. Enough to where my husband just looked at me, and said he was sorry but he would not be able to eat the fish. FML. Well thank god I made jiffy corn bread, and didn't mess that up so atleast we had something to eat. I was so excited to try to cook these fish fillets that I seasoned them just right, and turned the pan to get hot on the stove. Zach was watching me while he surfed the net at the counter bar, and then low and behold what happens the damn fish is sticking to the pan. Great just what I need. And before anyone wonders if I used anything yes I did use some vegetable oil. So I scrapped the fish off the bottom, and turned down the heat to try again. Same shit happens. I would think I have terrible cookware for this to happen, but it is caphalon (spelling). Oh well I'm not going to give up. I will learn how to atleast feed my husband. haha. Well back to baking chicken because thats all I'm good at!

First off, I love your honesty. Lol. And you tried some thing new. Congrats on that. Now you have to go on line and find out what you could have done differently. I think a very hot pan and being patient for the first side to cook fully is the way to go but you could also try baking it, in tinfoil and spray. Do your research. Most of us don’t pop into being knowing this kind of stuff and even with the knowledge it can still simple not work. Trial and error, my friend. You’ll find out what works for you.

lol. Sometimes Shit just sticks. :/ Nothing you can do about it. Chicken Soup: 1 quart chicken stock 3-4 boneless chicken breasts 1 small onion Celery (fresh or dried they both work) 2ish cups of diced carrot Garlic powder Lowery's seasoning salt pepper Onion powder Minced Onion A dash of Italian seasoning Put the chicken in a big pot with some water and the stock. Cook til chicken is done All All the seasonings, carrots, onion. Cook til you can pull chicken apart with a fork, shred all the breasts with said fork, eat soup. I eat it over rice and with scoops corn chips, but you can always throw some noodles in with it. :) As for how much of all the seasonings to use..um. Put them in til it smells and tastes yummy. And remember the soup will boil down, and the more it boils down the more salt you'll taste. ;) You can always add a bit more seasoning as it cooks, but it's good to start out with just a little of each. ^.^ And as Christiana said: Trial and Error. The first time I made it, I had a big lack of onion. lol. And needed to add more celery. :) And the first time I made beef stew on my own, I scorched the bottom of it. Had it cooking too high. :P We all have days when kitchen just seems to be against us, on those days it's good to have a lean cuisine or sandwich stuff in the fride just in case. ;)
