A healthy, crunchy version of the more popular treats with a chocolaty, nutty goodness.
Ingredients
Directions
- Spray a 9x9" square baking pan with cooking spray.
- Place all ingredients except the rice cereal in a saucepan and stir continually over medium-high heat until melted and smooth.
- Turn off heat and stir in brown rice cereal.
- Pour mixture into baking pan and smooth out evenly.
- Let cool until firm and slice into 16 squares.

I'm really sorry guys that it didn't stick together, not quite sure why it wouldn't be. You spread it out like a cake, then cut it after it cools. Maybe it's warmer where you are and you need to put it in the fridge immediately. This is exactly how I made them. As for the person who said "butter," it's almond butter (think peanut butter). Not dairy butter. Please don't review it as bad unless you know what you are talking about.
I've made this many times and not had a problem with it once.

Followed the recipe exactly and they never even stuck together. Something must be missing but I don't know what it is. Not cool.

I followed the recipe to a T (even counted out 100 chocolate chips) and after letting it sit for for over an hour, the bars fell apart. I put them in the fridge and they still didn't stay together very well. I'm guessing more honey and/or almond butter is needed. The crumbles tasted good though!
