A delightfully easy flavorful chicken dish that will surely become a favorite.
Ingredients
Directions
- Pound chicken breasts to about 1/3" thick.
- Place ham on breast then 1/2 oz of bleu or swiss cheese.
- Roll up; securing with a toothpick.
- Dip each breast-roll into a mixture of the melted butter and beaten egg.
- Roll in parmesan cheese and place in buttered baking dish.
- Bake at 350 °F (175 °C) for 30 to 35 minutes or until browned and tender.

Was very good. Had to turn the broiler on for the last couple of minutes to brown it up like the picture. I used shredded parmesan because that is what I had on hand. The pic looks like grated so maybe that is why it didn't brown as fast.

I made this last night, and I'm eating the leftovers right now. It is AMAZING! And I'm thrilled at the carb count. I sauteed some baby portabellas and zucchini to go with it, and it was wonderful.

Sounds delicious, but very high in fat (which of course gives lovely flavor!) For me, I would have to cut the cheese down to just a sprinkle for flavour and add more spices. Will try soon. thank you.

Nice but nothing special. Found it abit boring and lacking flavour. Family did enjoy it though.
