I'm 5'11" and at the end of May 2020, I weighed 180.8 lbs. My BMI range* says that I should be between 133 lbs and 179 lbs. I know 133 is unrealistic, because my body shut down the one time I reached that weight in high school. My realistic weight goal is to reach a healthy mid-range weight, so I chose 160.
This year I turned 46 and started working from home because of COVID-19. My metabolism is starting to slow down and I'd like to proactively combat the effects of aging and enjoying a more sedentary lifestyle.
I love treats, enjoy fresh fruit, and am cooking more at home. Please share your stories of success and any tasty recipes you have!
*BMIs are problematic; I'm using it for a guide.
