It's been a minute since I've journaled an entry. I have gained and loss again and weighed in today at 143 exactly. My doctor would like for me to get to 135 lbs (yipes), so needless to say, the struggle is real. However, I am determined to get there by hook or crook, so off I go accepting the challenge. So as of today, I have 8 lbs to go, which shouldn't be too bad, if I can get past PMS and all of the sugar cravings, lol.

Surprisingly, I continue to lose weight just by making a few more adjustments. Now I fill in my "snacks" with either two oranges or a cup of greek yogurt. My occasional workouts don't hurt either. lol. I have incorporated mushrooms and zucchini into my diet more than ever now. I have been thinking about dropping approximately another 10lbs, but I'm not ready to mentally make that commitment just yet. If it happens, it happens, but I have to admit that I am enjoying the 2 lbs drop that I have experienced in spite of the new year holiday eating frenzy that happens yearly.

I am excited about this weigh in because not only am I at goal, I am able to maintain it -- all without starving myself. In fact, I have incorporated wonderful fruits and vegetables in my diet for my health and have removed 90% of dairy out of my diet. I still drink almond milk, which is much better than regular milk.

I have gotten to my goal weight and teeter between it ant 146 now. I can successfully state that I have reached my goal and have maintained it successfully for a few weeks. The goal is to now get back to exercising to maintain a successful balance for the rest of my life. :-)

fell a bit off the bandwagon because of PMS and stress levels. Getting back on track now.
