At the suggestion of a buddy here on FS I decided to look at Kierra Lashae videos on You Tube for my cardio work out. I found one I thought I would enjoy and decided I would give it a whirl. Yesterday was my first day of following along. It didn't go as well as I had hoped due to my ignorance. I attempted to do the video while still in my yoga attire. I like doing yoga naked but since I now live in town and with my father that's not doable. I put on the least amount of clothing which is a tank top and loose shorts, no bra, nothing else. Well, jumping and squatting and such is NOT advisable in said attire! Instead of stopping I marched on like a soldier just doing some altered movements. Now Today, day two. I come dressed for battle. I have my only sports bra on and I am ready to get moving. I ease into the work out and hey what do you know its working! So I really get into it, jumping, squatting the whole nine yards. So at the age of 41 I have realized that muscles that control some pretty important functions are a little weak. Like for example my bladder. Yep you guessed it, every time I jump a little less "control" So I guess I will be adding yet another workout to my daily routine, kegel's.

Sooooo..........I just looked up a hip hop cardio video on you tube, (bc I'm cheap and don't want to pay for fitness.) I thought a ten minute video would be a good place to start. My legs are now jello, I can't breath, and my dad is now wondering what he's going to do bc with the way i was thrashing around I have obviously lost my mind.

Yes I fell off the wagon and yes I gained weight. I still believe my motivation is tied to hormones and when they get unbalanced I lose all motivation. I read all I can but usually feel more confused and don't know what way to turn.
